Sometimes you just don’t have to sweat your extra pounds off. “The more you weight, the more calories you burn during easier workouts, like brisk walking,” explained Holland.
So, instead of “killing” yourself during every workout, consistent efforts will melt your pounds right away, and the initial success will keep you going.
“Excess weight makes exercise naturally harder on your joints,” explained Tom Holland. In his book Beat the Gym, Holland says that it’s important to start with “training movements,” and expose your body to less strain.
That’s a good way to obtain proper form. First, master the basic moves, and once your muscles and joints are used to them, you can boost the intensity.
Exercise 2-3 times a week, and do two sets of every exercise. Your sets should involve 12-15 repetitions, and you can also give your workout a healthy cardio kick.
