Can’t win your fight with excess weight? We have a few good tips, and you won’t even have to go to the gym!
- Stay away from junk food, including your favorite burger.
2. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, and don’t drink anything that contains preservatives, sugar, caffeine and alcohol.
3. Learn the difference between ‘eating right’ and ‘eating less.” Cut down your fat and carb intake, and eat more protein and fiber. Carbs aren’t bad for you, but make sure you pick the right type.Feel free to eat your apples, broccoli, asparagus, strawberries, oatmeal, whole grains, etc. avoid the carbs that turn into sugars, i.e. white bread, white rice, refined flour, etc.
4. Split your meals into smaller portions. Eat most of your food for breakfast, eat less for lunch, and least for dinner. Indulge in healthy salads, sprouts and fruits to boost your metabolism.
5. Don’t eat too much ghee and butter. Olive oil is a healthier alternative than these two.
6. Always eat your meals at the same time, and trust us, this is a game changer.
What about exercise?
- Walk or run in your mornings to pump up your adrenaline. Jogging isn’t a good option, as it’s more like forced workout. Have you ever tried the cough 25K plan? Look for the app on your windows or android.
- Don’t use your car too often, and walk instead. The same applies to elevators.
- Do high intensity cardio for an hour. Find what works best for you, and do it every day. Aerobics, power yoga, and zumba are some of the activities you should try.
- Don’t push too hard, and keep in mind that losing weight requires time and patients. Find a strong motivation, and stick to it. Going too easy may be a problem, too. Try your best, and don’t exceed your limits.
- Take a 30-minute brisk walk after your dinner
- Go to bed early, and wake up early. Simple as that.
